Community-building and youth mission today

Abstract

The aim of this volume is to provide students with practical knowledge and insights on a specific topic, so that they can not only feel inspired to do further research, but also create tangible, practical action plans for themselves and their communities. I will also try to give practical perspectives on the „doing” of youth mission and communitybuilding among young people. The Great Commission calls us to nothing less than to build a new community, framed by the power and presence of Jesus, in which the words and actions of disciples make disciples of others. In this paper, after detailing the mission dilemmas and exploring the background information, I will go into more detail on the topics of community building, worship and preaching.
