György Renius

Renius György, printer, established his workshop in Sárospatak in 1651, which he ran for six years before it passed into the ownership of Rosnyai János in 1657. The printing house's best-known publications include: Exempla Reconciliationis (1653); Az Keresztyeni Igaz Hitről való Vallas-tetel (1654); Compendium Doctrinae Christianae (1655); János Petkó Somosi, The Way to True and Perfect Happiness (1656) and Pál Medgyesi, Triple Woe and Lamentation (1653), followed in 1657 by The Fourth Woe of the True Hungarian People; Rab Szabadító Isteni Szent Mesterség (The Divine Art of Delivering Slaves); Külön ülő Keresztyén (The Separate Christian); Serva Domine and Igazak sorsa e világon (The Fate of the Righteous in this World).
