About the Server

What is my advantage?

A preprint, also known as an Author's Original Manuscript (AOM), is the version of an article that has been published before it is submitted to a journal for peer review.

What is a preprint server?

Pre-print servers are online repositories that allow you to publish this early version of your paper online.

Pre-print servers are now commonly used in some scientific disciplines. Among the best known are:

ArXiv (physical sciences)

SocArXiv (social sciences)

bioRxiv (biology)

However, there are equivalents for most research areas.

Pre-print servers give you the opportunity to get your work to your colleagues quickly. Readers should bear in mind, though, that my benefits have not undergone a formal peer review process.
