Based on the work of Trevin Wax, this study examines three fundamental aspects of the renewal of the Reformed Church: the depth of the church’s crisis, the need for more radical reform, and the primacy of love. It demonstrates that true renewal is not merely an organizational change, but a return to the Gospel, the Word of God, and the foundations of the Christian faith. The study emphasizes that honestly confronting the church’s sins must not lead to a loss of love for the church. The path to Reformed renewal, therefore, lies in the combined practice of truth, obedience, and love for the church of Christ.
